OoOTie's Bow Tie Lover in the Flesh: Rhett, Boston University's Favorite Boston Terrier!!!!

OoOTie's Bow Tie Lover in the Flesh: Rhett, Boston University's Favorite Boston Terrier!!!!

Meet Rhett, Boston University's ultimate spirit-stick holding Boston terrier mascot! Named after Rhett Butler, the lead male character in Margaret Mitchell's film Gone With the Wind, this eighty-eighty years young pup is a born class act, having a love for both the classics and for his Scarlett (i.e. reason why BU's school colors are scarlet and white). Often sporting BU sports jerseys, you can find Rhett cheering on his favorite Division 1 college sports team on the sidelines and being featured in ESPN SportsCenter commercials.

Rhett truly proves to be man's best friend, loyally sticking by his s
chool's side and keeping the party going in Agganis Arena, even when Boston College's mascot Baldwin tries to spoil BU fans' fun. His high-powered enthusiasm has also been recognized on both state-wide and national levels, winning him such titles during the Universal Cheerleading Association's mascot nationals as "All-American" in 1996 and "Boston's Top Mascot" in 1998.

It's then no surprise as
to why Rhett hit up the OoOTie guys for a bow tie that subtly represents his overall love for all things BU while at fancier campus affairs where his sports jerseys simply will not do! So in honor of the well- deserving mascot, who literally wears his heart for BU on his school jersey sleeve, OoOTie has created some fashionable neck-candy for this dignified-looking terrier and other fellow BU fans.

Rhett excha
nges his game face for a sharp but playful- looking bow tie that still allows him to keep his swagger in tact while roaming around campus events and at the Warren Towers Dining Hall. So please do make sure to stop by the Barnes&Noble @ Boston University Bookstore and purchase OoOTie's Boston University bow tie that will be sure to make you look like the top dog on campus!
